Josh was born October 23, 1987 in New Britain the eldest son of Jon W. (dec.) and Tracy Demi Hall.
Josh was passionate about music and was a talented musician and vocalist. He started playing in bands at a young age with his brothers Jacob and Zachary and several friends over the years.
Josh explored a few career paths ranging from paving to facility maintenance but most recently he happily settled as an independent contractor while getting “Hall’s Home Improvements” off the ground.
Josh was kind and smart, he was a jack of all trades, mechanically inclined and could fix anything. He enjoyed working on and flipping project cars. Josh was silly and funny - he thrived on making others laugh, even at his own expense. He enjoyed stand-up comedy and wanted to try his hand at standup himself.
Josh would stop in his tracks to give someone a helping hand and would not think twice about giving someone the shirt off his back. He had the brightest and kindest eyes, a contagious smile and an infectious laugh that would light up the whole room. Josh struggled for years, he was not always proud of his actions but woke up every day trying to be a better person.
When Josh loved, he loved fiercely and was truly loyal. He forever mourned the loss of his father Jon - he is survived by his fiancée Amanda Szajda, mother Tracy Hall, daughter Georgiana, brothers Jacob Hall (Katie) and Zachary Hall, nephew Jaxson, niece Vera. Additionally, several aunts, uncles, cousins and his faithful companions Marley, Gunner and Bert.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects to his family on Saturday July 8, 2023 from 10-11 AM at Church and Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem Street, Norwich, CT 06360. A celebration of life for Josh will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private and at the convenience of his family.
