Mark Thomas Wilkinson

Chatsworth – Mark Wilkinson, 62, passed away on August 26, 2021, with his wife Toni, sons Mathew and Andrew, and Josh, near his side, in West Hills, California.

Mark was born on January 4, 1959 in Burbank California to Mary and Cotton (Basil) Wilkinson. Mark and Toni united in 1982 and began their family in 1987 with the birth of their first son, Mathew Thomas Wilkinson, and second son, Andrew Mason Wilkinson, in 1988. Upon the birth of both children, Mark said he never knew he could love someone as much as he loved that child. This love was evident throughout his entire life. In 2015 his love grew even more with the birth of his granddaughter, Abigail Marie Wilkinson. His playful spirit, sense of adventure and love was reflected in his time playing with Abby.

Mark was raised in Chatsworth California along with his siblings, Douglas, Martha and Raymond. After graduating from Chatsworth High School, Mark attended college then began working in the machining industry opening his own shop, Prompt Machine Products, in 1991. His dedication towards building relationships with vendors and his peers, while also mentoring others, perpetuated his successful business. Mark also devoted hours volunteering with the Ronald McDonald house and the Cancer Hope Foundation.

Mark is survived by his loving wife, Toni, his children Mat and Andrew, his granddaughter Abigail, his brothers Douglas and Raymond, his favorite sister, Martha and many, many friends. Mark touched many lives with his playful spirit, his ease of laughter, his love of his family and friends, and his purpose driven approach to life.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 10:00am at Bastian & Perrott Mortuary, 18728 Parthenia St., Northridge, California.
