Margaret was born in Detroit, Michigan, to Angelo and Rose Cosentino. Joseph was born in Detroit, Michigan, to Giacomo and Cologida Russo.
They were the love of each other's lives and married in Detroit, where they began raising their children, Jack, Joseph, and Angela. In 1959, the family moved to Southern California, where they began their real estate agency and founded Italian clubs, all of which became quite successful and they were very proud of.
After many dedicated years with their agency and clubs, they retired, had a lively social life in their retirement communities, and filled their days with leisure activities. Margaret was an avid card game player, bingo player and announcer, and bowler. Joseph was very fond of golfing, playing chess, bowling, and singing oldies.
As the years past and times changed, there were constants that remained with them both: their love, mentorship, compassion, positivity, and humor. Throughout their life, they were especially admired by all for their love of and devotion to each other. They never hesitated to share words of wisdom they garnered over the years, especially if it pertained to their long-lasting marriage. Having hearts of gold, they always thought of others, devoting their time and donating to a multitude of charities. Their ability to empathize with others and help was their shining characteristic. While life had not always been kind of them, their positivity and sense of humor was unwavering and inspiring by all who knew them.
They are preceded in death by their daughter, Angela. They are survived by their two children Jack (Gerri) and Joseph (Anna Marie); their grandchildren Shelley, Wendy, Jack, Angela (Haris), Tiana, and Krysta, great-grandchildren, and beloved family and friends.
