Eric was born on April 17, 1950 in Oxnard, California to Eugene Robert and Mary Patricia Crippa.
He is survived by his son Cameron E. Crippa, sisters S. Luigia Crippa and Lenore L. Crippa and brothers Chris Crippa and Eugene A. Crippa.
He started his career in motocross racing with Husqvarna and then Honda. Eric had his share of wins but found his calling in being an excellent mechanic. Throughout his career he developed and made improvements to suspension systems and engines. He could make any engine sing and out-perform just about anyone.
Eric was a gentle and giving man. Loved by his family and friends and respected by his co-workers. His untimely passing will leave a void in the lives of many.
