Boligee- Shirley Ann Calabrese, age 78, of Boligee, AL. passed away on April 8, 2017 at Hospice of West Alabama. Shirley was born November 26, 1938 in Buhl, AL. she is now with her heavenly Father and the many other loved ones gone before.
She is survived by her brother, James Strickland (Helen); sister, Annie Merle Boothe (John), grandsons Joel Patrick Calabrese III and James Ridge Calabrese; sister-in-law, Vicki Akridge (Aubrey)and special friend, Diane Martin.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Verner and Terria B. Strickland; husband, Joel Patrick Calabrese I; son, Joel Patrick Calabrese II; three brothers and one sister.
Graveside service will be 2:00PM Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Coker Cemetery with Rev. Charles Bullock officiating. Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing.
Pallbearers will be AJ Hartley, Joey Church, Ronny Powell, John Calabrese, Jimmy Strickland, Doug Pugh and Aubrey Akridge.
