Louise Norris Lowe, age 79, of Northport, died March 8, 2012, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 1 p.m. today at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Reggie Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Basil “Buddy” Norris; her husband, Bernard Lowe; her parents, Clarence and Myrtie Skelton; and her brothers, Adrian Skelton, Gordon Skelton, and T.W. Skelton.
Survivors include her daugh-ters, Patricia Barrentine (Sonny), Susan Meadows, and Sara Hughes (Darrel); son, Sonny Norris (Susan); brothers, Orman “Shorty” Skelton, Lowell Skelton, Travis Skelton, and Douglas “Buddy” Skelton; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Norris, Jimmy Norris, George Norris, Greg Norris, Dwight Norris, and Jimmy Gough.
Honorary pallbearers are doctors and nursing staff of DCH Regional Medical Center, Hospice of West Alabama, all friends and neighbors of the family, and Jeff Besant.
