Jean was a loyal and devoted wife for 58 years. She was sweet and selfless, always putting others needs above her own, especially needs of her husband, children and grandchildren. She was a living example of Godliness and how a woman should treat her husband and her family. She was the best wife, mother, grandmother and friend anyone could ever hope to have. When her children were younger, she was known by their friends as "Mama Jean". She had a green thumb and loved her plants and flowers. She also loved feeding and watching humming birds and cardinals outside her home. She also had a great love for Southern Gospel and Gospel Quartet singing. Although, Jean loved her family so much, her beloved cocker spaniel, Katie, was her baby for more than 13 years. Jean missed her husband of 58 years tremendously, but she was willing to live out the remainder of her life on earth to the fullest, serving God until he called her Home. Today, she is happy and she is healed, as she is surrounded by her husband and loved ones who went before her. Most of all, she is with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, where she will be for eternity. She wanted nothing more than for all of her family to know and love The Lord and to live out their lives serving him.
