She was born on July 4, 1943 to Jessie and Mary Gray. Carolyn worked at Bryce Hospital as a cook until she retired. After retiring, she started working at Maw Maw's Early Learning Center. During her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, cooking, and reading. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Donna (Bryan) Hubbard; sister, Brenda (Richard) Duncan, and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Perry Jr.; parents, Jessie and Mary Gray; and sister, Bobbie Geer.
A visitation for Carolyn will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Bone Camp Methodist Church followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Ian Barrett, Mike Burns, Richard Duncan, John David Gray, Earl Hopkins, Bryan Hubbard and Wyatt McCollum. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Sunil Chandra, Maw Maw's Early Learning Center, and members of Bone Camp Methodist Church.
