Patricia Linda Haber

Born in Toronto on March 19, 1947 to Olga and Roy Haber. Predeceased by her parents and sisters Elizabeth Haber and Carole-Ann Ray. She leaves her son Evan Michael Melnyk (Lorene), granddaughter Ava Rose, sister Sandra Craig (Rob) and uncle Joe Sartor (Cindy).

Pat was a very independent person. Her greatest adventure was her midlife solo drive from Ottawa to Vancouver, a life changing experience for her. She was very creative and enjoyed many hobbies, including knitting, crocheting, weaving, painting and drawing. Cooking was another passion and baking was her specialty. She loved nature and west coast living, hiking, kayaking and cross country skiing.

She enjoyed her career, working for many years as a legal assistant in Ottawa and Vancouver.

Many thanks to her palliative care team at Vancouver Coastal Health for their support and compassion throughout her last journey.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
