Robert L. Bowles Jr.

Bob Bowles, age 82, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida passed away on Wednesday evening, October 23, 2019. He was born in Sylacauga, Alabama, son of the late Robert Lee Bowles, Sr. and Grace W. Bowles. Bob served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a graduate of Auburn University and worked in retail serving as a general manager for the K-Mart Corporation for forty years. Bob was a member of The United Methodist Church of the Palm Beaches in West Palm Beach, FL. He enjoyed movies and reading and most of all spending time with his family.

Bob leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, Karen Brooks and husband Warren of West Palm Beach, FL; Leslie Franco and husband Gene, of Las Vegas, NV; Kristina Baker and husband Rob, of Lake Worth, FL; seven grandchildren, Brittni Fernandez, Bailey Stamm, and Alex Brooks, Hilliary Soriano and Shelby Franco, Lee and Grace Baker; and two great grandchildren, Cassidy and Charlie Stamm.

There will be a memorial service to celebrate Bob’s life at The United Methodist Church of the Palm Beaches, 900 Brandywine Road, West Palm Beach, on Monday, October 28 at 4 P.M. with Rev. Phyllis Parthemer officiating.
