Jane was born in Baldwin, LI, NY and relocated to Palm Beach Gardens in 1976. She graduated from Baldwin High School, Class of 1950. She was an avid skier and skater growing up and worked briefly in NYC before marrying and settling down.
Jane is predeceased by her husband of 64 years, James E. Hopper on Dec. 24, 2016. After getting married in 1953 they moved to Levittown and then to Oakdale, LI, NY and raised a family.
Jane was the mother of six children, Sherry Elizabeth Ferguson of Santa Rosa, CA, Kevin Barry Hopper of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, David William Hopper of Indianapolis, IN, Taryn Jane Linkous of Palm City, FL, Edward Jackson Hopper of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Richard Lawrence Hopper of Bradenton, FL as well as two step-children, James Patrick Hopper and John Michael Hopper of Boise, ID. She also leaves many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jane was a beautiful woman, wife, mother, always full of grace, patience, understanding and always looked at the positive side of life. She was a devoted mother to her family, devoting her life to taking care of her family to be sure they were all happy and successful in their lives. She never asked for anything but time with her family. Having her as our mother was truly a gift.
Never forgotten and forever loved. May she rest in peace. The family will celebrate her life privately.
