Charles Pittman Jr.

Charles Pittman Jr., age 81, passed away January 7, 2016 in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Charles was very proud of his service in the Marine Corps. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 323 for more than 55 years. He was a volunteer and coach for many years for PBGYAA. He was also an active member of First Baptist Church of Lake Park.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Charles and Goldie Pittman; his sister, Maxine Poovey; and his brothers, Leonard and James. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Riba “Robinson” Pittman; his daughter, Teresa Leonhart (Rick) Biby; his sons, Kevin (Laura) Pittman and Kyle Pittman; his sisters, Agnes Bowman and Willie Mae Wall; his brother, Jerry Pittman; his grandchildren, Tiffany, KC, Tyler, Charlee, Justin, Cody, and Bo; his great-grandchildren, Cooper, Blythe, and Sebastian; and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 10 from 3:00-6:00pm at Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation and Event Center, 754 U.S. Highway 1, North Palm Beach, FL 33408. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 11 at 1:00pm at First Baptist Church of Lake Park, 625 Park Avenue, Lake Park, FL 33403. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County.
