Alice Marion Andrews

Alice was born on October 10 1934 in Salem Massachusetts. She grew up at 4 Glover St and graduated High School in 1952.

She was working in Boston when she met her husband Richard D. Andrews, who was serving in the United States Navy at the time when they met. A few short years later they married on December 5 1954.

She moved to Florida in 1955 and resided in her same house on Flamingo Terrace, which was hand built by her late husband. In the years to follow she gave birth to 3 beautiful children; two boys and a girl.

Alice and her husband loved to travel. Throughout the 70s they explored many parts of Europe and Asia; ranging from England, Germany, Austria, and Hong Kong.

A women with many friends, but none closer to her than Kathy Perry. She met Kathy and her husband Doug when they bought the plot of land across the street from where she resided and from that day she had a partner in crime for all of her crafting escapades. Craft shows, sewing, to cake decorating; they did everything together. One notable mention was there big trip to Alaska together in 1995.

As the years past and the neighborhood grew and changed, anyone that moved to the area couldn’t help but love Alice. She was one of the kindest people you could meet and was a true friend to all who knew her.

After her husbands passing in 2004, she stared line dancing to fill her schedule. She instantly fell in love and danced at Kelsey Park Recreational Center every Monday Night. There she met her dance teacher and close friend Rick and joined their group the Outaline Dancers.

Alice lived a very loved and fulfilled life surrounded by friends and family. She was the best Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, and friend anyone could ask for. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard D. Andrews Sr., her son, Richard D. Andrews Jr., and her daughter in law, Debbie Andrews.

She is survived by her son Robert Andrews; daughter Rosemarie Cain, her son in law Robert Cain, grandchildren Robert Jr, Ryan, Russell, and Rosemary Cain, Michelle and Chris Donohue, Veronica Jackson and great grandchildren Grant, Drew and Lillian Cain.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 23 2019 for a viewing from 11am-12pm with a funeral service and reception to follow at Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 754 US Highway 1, North Palm Beach, FL 33408.

Immediately following the reception, there will be a graveside service at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, 5601 Greenwood Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407
