Mary E. Flint, 76, beloved Mother, Grandmother, and friend went home with The Lord early Sunday May 29th, 2022, at Hollywood Regional Memorial Hospital, Hollywood, FL. She was surrounded by her loving family for her last moments. Mary was born in Utica, New York to parents Arthur and Ruth Hooks and was a sister to Carol Anne and Jimmy. Mary had moved between Florida and Upstate New York throughout her life touching the hearts of people everywhere she went. Mary had a successful Real-estate career and worked at KB’s Real Christmas Trees as the head cashier for decades alongside her family, “Ms. Mary” was the highlight of many customers’ times while buying a tree during the holiday season. She always said that her biggest accomplishments were her family and lifelong friends. She loved to dance, draw, cook and make the people around her smile. She has been described by many different people as a woman with a beautiful soul and a loyal friend accompanied with a presence that would light up the room. Mary wanted nothing more than to care for the people around her in any way she could. Mary was a force to be reckoned with in the best way possible, and this stayed true into her last moments. She is survived by her son Robert (Robbie) Flint, Granddaughter Autumn Hope Flint-Burns, Son-in-law Mayor Kevin Burns, (sister) Sue Ann Dellerba, special nephew Jim Hooks, Wife Kathy, and Grand Nephew Ethan as well as nieces, a grand-niece, and many life-long friends including Cathy Chiricosta (Martin), and Judy Martin.
