Frederick Sandler

Freddy, as he was affectionately called by his family and friends, was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. After high school, he was drafted into the Air Force and served his country for over 3 years before an injury brought him back home to New York where he was awarded a purple heart.

He later moved to Florida where he met the love of his life Grace and then went to work as a letter carrier for the US Government.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Tillie Sandler, his loving wife Grace, his brothers Joseph and Howard, and his sister-in-law Marilyn. He is survived by his sister-in-law Idie, his 4 devoted children Janel Rafael (Danny), Lisa Feliciano (Sam), Jared Sandler (Tamara), and Devin Sandler (Michael). He was also blessed with 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons Austin (Skye), Kimberly, Noah, Phoenix (Franz), Alexis, Coltyn, Paisley, Alyssa, Gracyn, Caiden, and Robin as well as many other family members.

A service will be held on Tuesday, October 8th from 2-4 pm at Kraeer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 1 State Road 7, Margate, FL 33063.
