I am a mother of three and learned of the sacrifice that Aaron went through to try to save the young lives. May your family and friends be at peace eventually. My oldest was born the same year as Aaron.

Today, a month after the shootings, I attended a prayer meeting at my son's high school in Portland, Oregon. Everyone in attendance was given a name of one of the shooting victims, and I received Aaron's name. I remember reading last month about his selfless actions that saved many students, and re-reading them today brought me to tears. Please know that I am praying for you, his loved ones.

I'm sorry for your loss. Please accept my condolences, hope you are comforted by this few words. you will be able to see Aaron Feis again.(ACt 24:15) I will keep the whole family in my prayers.

It's a horrible thing to lose a loved one in death. Especially when it seems so senseless. Please know that you are not alone in your feelings. Even our Heavenly Father is feeling the pain. May he be a constant part of your daily routine, through heartfelt prayer, he is ready and willing to listen. May the constant love of our caring God, your  family, and friends help to soften your sadness. Please know that you are in our prayers.

Hero: A person who is admired for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities.  Aaron is a true hero. 
" Keep on conquering the evil with the good " Romans 12:21

What can I say to console the hearts of the Feis Family and community for the loss of your beloved Aaron. May you meditate on two definite promises God as Isaiah 57:15 emphasize that HE will be with you, the lowly in spirit, and will revive your broken hearts and crushed spirits. And the second is this, that HE can bring Aaron back, so that she may be enlightened with the light of life, for you to embrace again. (Job 33:30). May you accept HIS consoling words to bring you strength, hope and peace as HE calms yours hearts during this time of grief. 

When one falls asleep in death it affects many.  Aaron's life affected many.  He gave his life for his students because he loved them.  May his family and friends fell the love from those of us who care too.  May you lean on our heavenly father for support and guidance.  Lean on him and he will listen and answer your prayers.

I had the privilege of knowing Aaron when we were kids.  He lived for a time in my neighborhood on Long Island and we spent a lot of time together over a couple summers.  It doesn't surprise me that he grew up to be a great person because he always was.   My sadness over this tragedy was compounded when I realized who this hero was.  Rest in peace my friend.

My deepest condolences in the passing of Aaron. He died protecting students from gunfire.  His heroism will not go unnoticed by God. Notice what Hebrews 6:10 says, "For God is not unrighteous so as to forget your work and the love you showed......" Yes God takes notice of righteous works.  Aaron will receive life in paradise: You will be with me in Paradise. (Luke 23:43)

My deepest condolences to the family of Aaron Feis.  He will be missed by all those whose lives he touched.  May the precious memories of the time spent together help ease the pain of your loss. Look to the God of comfort to strengthen and comfort you during this difficult time.

I live in Michigan. I have been following this tragedy. I have many tears as I have watched all of this. Please know, there are people in every state mourning your tremendous loss. Please know, there are many around our country embracing and praying for you.

Mr. Feis did such a brave act by sheltering his students. So sad that he lost his life.Peace be with his family.

Coach Feis, you were a mentor and a coach to my sons and always knew the right things to say. You protected and guided many young people into adulthood. This amazing man died to save the innocent children from harm.  His heroic act will never be forgotten.  He did what many would not do.  He was a brave role model who gave his own life at a time of terror and evil.  God bless him for this and we will all remember him as a Hero!  Condolences to all affected by this tragedy. Coach Feis! I have so many fond memories of not only high school with you but my student teaching tenure. You were always the man I begged to let me in when I was late. You say with a tiny smile asking me if I was ever going to decide to come on time. I watched as you coached our team. As I grew older and returned to the nest I remember meeting you at 7-11 and you jokingly said now don't tell anyone I'm here I should have been to work 10 minutes ago. RIP

I remember you as always being a nice guy and one of the cool security guards at Douglas. Everyone knew you and loved you. My deepest sympathies go out to your wife and daughter, and all of your family, friends and students. May God bring peace and comfort to your loved ones. RIP to a true hero.

I am SO SORRY for the loss of such a brave, beautiful soul.....I work with BSO Fire Rescue and some of us were discussing how incredible Aaron was to do what he did. I suggested he be given the equivalent of a firemans or policemans funeral . I also thought he should have our Black Pearl Pipes and Drums band play at his funeral. Bagpipes are reserved for the bravest warriors since the old time back in Ireland and even further back in Rome. The leader of that band Chief Mike Nugent said that they have to be requested by an immediate family member in order to play . Please call the main BSO number 954-831-8900 and ask for him and request them to play. And please post the funeral arrangements for Aaron if possible, as many of us want to attend to show our respect for such a human being.....❤❤❤

Aaron was a loving and profoundly caring man. I have numerous recollections of his abilities to diffuse difficult situations with difficult students. He made a huge difference even before this tragedy. My heart mourns for his family and the MSD community that lost so much with his passing. Love you Aaron.
