I had no idea of Alan's passing. I am so saddened by this. So many memories of his sense of humor, kindness and cool demeanor. Alan and Linda were so kind to me when I would visit while I lived on east coast during medical school.  I was so stressed out and they made me feel so at home.  He was the best.

To Linda, Scott and Dana,
I am a very good friend of Erlinda Carillo  and Cely. Since I heard that Mr. Landis has been sick, I had been offering prayers for him at my daily masses. Though I have not been formally introduced to him and to you Linda, I knew of your husband's kind character and many accomplishments through Erlinda. Dana who is always warm and friendly whenever we run into each other, please accept my heartfelt condolences on your great loss. I am sure he will be enormously missed. On behalf of Erlinda, Criselda and Cely, I do express our sincerest sorrow on his passing.
