LtCol Scott Norm Benson, USAF (ret.) was born 23 Nov 1963, the middle son of Norm and Elaine Benson who precede him in death. Scott passed away this week after a heroic battle with cancer at home surrounded by his family, in Jacksonville, AR. Scott is survived by his devoted wife and best friend of 43 years, Married for 35 years, Ranee Benson, and their 3 boys Nikolas, Mitchell and Matthew. His older brother Steve and younger sister Stacy mourn his passing as well. Preceded him in death his son Gabriel and parents in the afterlife and is remembered for his funny personality, dedication to Air Force and his frequent moments as “Mr. Safety.”
