1956 in Van Nuys, California. Rick was the founder and owner of Abel Hunt Crane and Hoist, Inc. Rick
was an avid fisherman and hunter. Rick loved camping at Lake DeGray with his grandkids and family
where they spent many summers. Rick was a loving and caring husband, father and friend. Everyone
knew how much he loved his family and that he would do anything for them. He cherished his time with
his grandchildren, teaching them everything he knew about life, fishing, hunting, the business and
how to work hard.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda H. Hunt, his father Doyle C. Hunt and his
granddaughter Ashleigh Hunt-Bennett.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Brenda S. Hunt of North Little Rock, two daughters Leslie Nanny
(Bobby) of Sherwood and Lisa Hunt (Steven) of North Little Rock, three grandchildren Baileigh and Eli
Nanny of Sherwood and Evan Hunt-Bennett of North Little Rock, two best friends John Martin and
Dennis Yarbro and numerous other beloved family and friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday November 6, 2021 from 11am to 12pm at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Rd., North Little Rock where funeral services will follow at 12pm.
