Mary I. Haley, 85, of North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018. Mary was born July 25, 1933, in Marion, Ohio, to Albert and Rosella Kinsey. She attended Bowling Green State University in Ohio where she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. She married John Haley in 1954; and they shared 43 years together until his passing in 1998. While being a military spouse with her husband in the Air Force for over 20 years, stationed stateside and across the world, Mary was always active in the military community. She always cherished the time spent with family and friends. Mary was an active member of Lakewood United Methodist Church, a member of the Bob Millet Sunday School Class, the Lakewood Squares, and the Primetime Singles Group. Mary was also a proud member of the P. E. O. Sisterhood and enjoyed being a fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and watching all of their games. Mary leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter Cindy Guinta and her husband Tom of Trumbull, Connecticut, son John Haley and his wife Mary Kay of St. Louis, Missouri, son Jim Haley and his wife Lori of Conway, Arkansas, and her four grandchildren, Matt, Kate, Anna, and Kinsey Haley. She is also survived by loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, and a host of lifetime friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John, and her daughter Kathy in 2002. Funeral services will be held at Lakewood United Methodist Church, 1922 Topf Rd, in North Little Rock on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 11:00 am. A reception will immediately follow the service. A private burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park of North Little Rock.
