Larry Dean Passmore

Larry Dean Passmore, 84, of Jacksonville, AR passed away March 23, 2024. He was born May 11, 1939 in Valdese, NC to Garland Passmore and Ruth Kilpatrick. Mr. Passmore enlisted in the Air Force, October 1957. While enlisted, he attended college and graduated from Louisiana Tech in 1970 and chose a career in the military. He retired as a Major in the Air Force. Mr. Passmore was a Shriner for many years. He was an avid Golfer and private pilot instructor. Member of Aero Clubs wherever he was stationed. He is preceded in death by his parent’s Garland and Ruth Passmore of Valdese, NC; former wife Sherry Shinn Passmore of Rockwall, TX; sisters, Shirley England and Regina Quinn of North Carolina; son, Larry Dean Passmore Jr. of Las Vegas, NV; and grandson, Drake Guyor of Cabot, AR.

Surviving family, wife, Marivic Sancho Passmore of Jacksonville, AR; Son, James Passmore (Rhonda) of Frisco, TX; Daughters, Cindy Roses - Wintters( Todd) of Lucas, Texas and Kimberly Passmore Guyor of North Little Rock, AR; Grandchildren: Cole (Lauren) Roses, Blake Roses, Hayden (Taylor) Roses, Channing Roses, Shea (Rick) Guyor Sisk, Wells Guyor, Preston Guyor, Kayleigh Passmore, Lauren Weger, Jayme Branscum, and Ashleigh Passmore; Stepchildren: Jonathan ( Marcela) Bowan of Jacksonville, AR, Greg & Joseph Gustin of Jacksonville, AR; Step Grandchildren: Charlotte, Nikolie & Tamika Bowman, Evermore & Renoah Gustin; Great grandchildren: Kennedy and Beckham Sisk, Elsie Mae and Nora Ruth Roses. Henry Branscum. Dakota Weger, and many other extended family, cousins, and dear friends.

Graveside Service with Military Honors is scheduled for 11:00AM, Wednesday April 3, 2024 at the Arkansas State Cemetery in North Little Rock, AR. Bro. Roy Thompson is officiating from Friendship Baptist Church, Sherwood, AR. Arrangements are under the direction of Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home.
