Jesse Walley

Jesse Vinson Walley of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Monday April 17, 2023. He was born August 23, 1953 at Camp LeJeune, North Carolina to Harold E. Walley and Mary Jane Walley. He was 69 years and 8 months old.

Jesse was survived by his son Jesse Lee "Jay" Walley, (Kristen) North Little Rock, AR., his daughter Shan Margaret McAdams of Huntsville TX, sister Mary Margaret Shelton(Kenneth) Lonoke, AR, Harold Edward Walley Jr. (Barbara) Kansas City, MO., Douglas James Walley Little Rock, AR., and three aunts in Mississippi, Shelby J. Williams, Eliza Jane Geiger, and Elizabeth Maxie. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold E. Walley, mother, Mary Jane Walley, and sister, Barbara Ann Walley.

Multi-talented, Jesse retired from AFCO Steel, Little Rock, AR, where he was a steel welder. He also retired from Falcon Jet of Little Rock, AR, where he was an air plane mechanic. Jesse also owned an Air Plane Tandem Jumping, Parachuting, and Sky Diving Business. He enjoyed sky diving and performed at air shows as part of his business.

Jesse loved flying in his air plane and going on short day trips with his son, Jay, and sometimes his sister, Mary. He loved spending time with family and friends and giving advice whether you wanted it or not. He was a beloved father, brother, son and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

The family would like to express our thanks and appreciation to the staff of Baptist Hospice in Little Rock, and the Dallas County Hospital in Fordyce, for the compassion and guidance given to us and our loved one as he made this transition. A special thanks to nurse Lisa of Baptist Hospice.

Service will be held in the pavilion at Rest Hills Memorial Park, North Little Rock, Arkansas on Saturday, April 22, 2023 beginning at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in the park.
