Jeanette E. Rivera

Jeanette was born on February 19, 1959 to Charles Dee Simmons and Guadalupe Simmons at Hahn Air Force Base in Germany.

In 1982, Jeanette gave birth to a son, Christopher Daniel Galluppo by her first husband, Jack Galluppo. And in 1985, Jeanette met Jose Rivera at Little Rock Air Force Base. On January 9, 1988, they married and in 1992 they welcomed a daughter, Jennifer Dee Rivera into their family. Jose and Jeanette celebrated 34 years together.

Jeanette spent her years after retiring from Dassault Falcon Jet helping to care for her mother, Guadalupe Simmons. Most of her days were spent at her mother’s where she enjoyed drinking coffee and working on her quilting. She also enjoyed spending time fishing with her husband and grandsons. Much to her delight, she was able to enjoy time babysitting her newest grandson, Griffin, shortly before her passing. She was always caring for her family and enjoyed being in the center of all family activities.

Jeanette was predeceased by her father, Charles Simmons; her sister, Patricia Simmons; and her brother, Alan Simmons. She is survived by her brother, Robert and her sisters, Sherry and Sandy, as well as her mother, Guadalupe. She is also survived by her husband, Jose Rivera, her son, Christopher Galluppo, her daughter, Jenni Rivera-Ray, and son-in-law Dillon Ray and her grandchildren, Charles Galluppo, Jose Galluppo, Autumn Galluppo, and Griffin Rivera-Ray.
