Franklin Delano Forrest of North Little Rock, Ark., was born January 13, 1933 at Sumpter, AR., the son of the late James Selvin Forrest and Maggie Elveree Steadman. He was retired from Westinghouse/North American Philips after a 40 year career.
Mr. Forrest died Monday, March 7, 2022, at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock, at the age of 89. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, D’Ann Forrest; sisters, Opal Kelley, Sue Thompson, Flora Tabor, Otharee Ballentine, and Bena Graves; and brother, Russell Forrest.
Survivors include his son, Mitchell Forrest (Lori) and close nephew, John Thompson (Priscilla).
Graveside funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock. Visitation is Friday, 6-8 p.m. at Journey United Methodist Church, 15361 Highway 5, Cabot.
