Cindy was born in Little Rock on January 15, 1952 to Rea and Katie McCorkle. Cindy graduated from North Little Rock High School in 1970 and continued to attend the Wildcat Supper Club monthly get-togethers and made sure the reunions were something to remember. She worked at Clark Machinery for 42 years and genuinely loved her work family who always took exceptionally good care of her. Cindy was an active member of Park Hill Baptist Church for 65 years where she made many dear friends in the singles department, worked with the youth teaching Sunday School for 10 years, and was part of the “Joyful Women” Sunday School class. Cindy was also known as the cake lady. She made the world a more beautiful place with her gorgeous and delicious cakes. She developed a reunion tradition with her sister-cousins who are holding their reunion this weekend in her honor. Cindy had a way of shaping the lives around her, and we are all blessed to have been touched by her presence though we miss her already.
