Marlene Lila Zoldan passed away on 11/30/21. Marlene was the daughter of the late Paul and Sarah Stein. She was born 12/3/35 in NYC but spent most of her adult life in South FL. Marlene is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years Walter; daughter Karen Leonard and husband Karl; son Paul Zoldan, daughter Rhonda Blum and husband Craig. She is also survived by her sister Faith Basha; grandchildren Alexandra Coglio and husband Edward, Conor Clark and husband Joshua, Lauren Leonard, Lindsey Blum, Dylan Blum and great grandson Gabe Clark. Marlene will especially be missed by Sparky, her beloved Shitzu.
Marlene was born and raised in Bronx, NY. She became a secretary for a firm on Wall Street where she started her love for fashion and the excitement of NYC. Marlene moved to South FL with her mother where she met the love of her life Walter while he was admiring her brand new Ford Fairlane at her cousin's home. Marlene and Walter married in 1960. Marlene as active with her children's school, their sports and frequently served as Girl Scout Cookie Mom. She loved the family boat “My Sweet Marlene” where many family trips to the Keys yielded fish she would cook that evening. Marlene will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
