Gary Ames Seiden, age 75, of Boynton Beach, Florida , passed away Saturday June 24,2023, following a short battle against mesothelioma cancer. Born in Brooklyn and raised in Cedarhurst, New York, he met his future wife Maureen Gross while they were both in their late teens. The two moved from Roslyn, NY where Gary had been a “garmento” in New York City’s garment center, to Coral Springs in 1990 where he began operating G&M Auto, an auto parts supplier. Following Maureen’s passing in 2008 following a courageous battle against ovarian cancer, Gary shifted careers to become a successful real estate broker in the Coral Springs and Boca Raton area. He was a lifelong Celtics fan, steak-appreciator, golf-watcher, moviegoer and laughter-maker.
Gary is survived by his fiance Adrienne Cohen (Rabitz), his loving daughters, Rachel (and Josh Baron) and Stacey (and Paul Seider); his cherished grandchildren Olivia and Dylan Seider, Blake and Billie Baron; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Judy Seiden; cousins Laurel and David Nachman, and Ardith Mederrick; and by his many family and friends who will miss him dearly.
A funeral service for Gary will be held Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 10:30 AM, followed by a committal service at 11:00 AM.
