Mary Katherine McDowell, age 101, of Oakland, California passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022. Mary was born May 4, 1921 in Kentucky to Nannie Powell and James Elijiah Cole.

Mary is survived by their son Dwight McDowell; and their daughter Gloria J. Armstead.

Mary was preceded in death by their father James Elijiah Cole and their mother Nannie Powell.
