Although I never knew Ed personally,I certainly knew a lot about him through his friends in Delta Company. Having just completed an extensive memorial album on Co. D 1st Battalion 8th Air Cav , I would like his family to know that Ed is well represented, both in photographs and in the text.

I will be eternally grateful to Ed for (shortly before his own passing) having left his email address and photos at Medic "Doc" Thomas Kloss' grave site, in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Doc's passing. Doc's sister, Kristine Nowlin saw it, and reached out to us. She added much to our archives on "Tommy" through interviews and photos of - and by - him, taken in Vietnam. Ed's sister Diane Jensen has also assisted us in any way she could. We are grateful to both of them for helping us keep Ed and "Doc's" memory alive.
