Thomas Pairo Daniels

Thomas Pairo Daniels, age 74, of Ridgeville, South Carolina passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. Thomas was born in La Jolla, CA on December 3, 1948 to the late COL. Reuben W. Daniels Sr. and Florence P. Daniels.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife Nelda G. Daniels; his daughter Aimee Steiner (Tony Steiner); his son Reuben Daniels (Christina Cumbee); his grandchildren Kaylee Spires, Austin Steiner, Jackson Steiner (Jessica Weeks), Makenna King, Kayla Fanetti and Charlie Fanetti; his sister Florence D. Brigman (Joseph Brigman); his brother Stuart S. Daniels; and his nieces Tracy Polutta and Kim Elliott; and his nephews Joseph Brigman Jr, Grant Bagwell, Wayne Walters and Christopher Smith.

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents COL. Reuben W. Daniels Sr. and Florence P Daniels; and his brother Reuben W. Daniels Jr and sister-in-law Nancianna Daniels.

Thomas graduated from Murray Vocational School (Charleston, SC) in 1969, after school he joined the United States Army and proudly served his country as a Radar Crewman (Helicopter Pilot). Thomas was a hardworking man and after his time in the military he held numerous careers at multiple places, including The Naval Shipyard in Charleston, SC, Cummings Diesel Engines, and SCDOT. Thomas loved working in his yard and fishing. In his free time he also liked to work with his hands, fixing, and tinkering with things. Most of all he loved his family and friends by spending quality time with them, he enjoyed taking trips and traveling with them.

A visitation will be held for Thomas at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home on Friday July 28, 2023 from 6-8pm. A chapel funeral service will be held the following day on Saturday July 29, 2023 at 10:00 am. Graveside service with military honors will follow immediately after in Carolina Memorial Gardens. 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406.
