Sarah was a beautiful young woman and a vibrant and loving daughter, sister, niece, and cousin. She was last employed with HearingLife of Charleston SC. Sarah’s favorite hobby was cooking, and she was a great cook! She was always at home in the kitchen, cooking up everything from homemade soups to Christmas prime rib dinner. Her other hobbies included hiking, kayaking, watching Formula 1 car racing, attending music festivals, camping, embroidery, and photography. Sarah really loved animals, especially her Golden Retriever Lola. Sarah greatly enjoyed her camping trips and hiking in the mountains and foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains. During her frequent getaways, she spent many days soaking in the fresh mountain air and admiring the pristine forests and the stunning beauty of Looking Glass Falls, her favorite mountain waterfall located in the Pisgah National Forest of North Carolina. Yes, we will truly miss you Goose, and we’ll especially miss your warm spirit and your loving personality. We know you are at peace now Sarah, but you will be missed by so many people who loved you.
A celebration of life will be scheduled in early December. In the meantime, a private family gathering will occur at Mt. Pisgah, NC wherefore to spread her cremains upon the beautiful landscape which she visited often and cherished so deeply.
In lieu of sending flowers, the family requests donations be made directly to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org).
