Raymond Weaver, 92, of Goose Creek, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 8, 2024. He was the loving husband of Betty Weaver for 65 years. She was the love of his life. Relatives and friends of Raymond Weaver are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 2:00 PM, Friday, September 13, 2024 at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home. Ray was born in Turbeville, South Carolina on December 18, 1931. He was the son of Robert Dudley and Elmer Weaver. He proudly served his country for 4 years in the United States Navy and retired from civil service. Ray loved camping, carpentry work and gardening. He was a man of great faith; God was always the center of his life. Ray was a member of Heritage Holiness Church and dearly loved his church family and his pastor, Bob Matthews. Ray is survived by his wife, Betty; his sons, Ricky Weaver (Lisa) and Keith Weaver; his grandchildren, Tyler and Austin and his great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Darlene as well as his brother, Garland and sisters, Corine, Sue, Mildred and Ruby.
