Ralph Bashore Jr.

Mr. Ralph W. Bashore Jr., 84, of North Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest on October 12, 2016, surrounded by his family. A funeral service in his honor will be held on Monday, October 17, 2016, 3:00pm at Northwood Church, 4020 2nd Avenue in Summerville. A visitation will be held on the Sunday evening prior at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. Mr. Bashore was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph W. Bashore Sr., and Dorothy Bashore; two sons, David A. Bashore and James W. Bashore; a daughter, Dorothy R. Bashore; and a brother, Dennis Bashore. Left behind to treasure his memory is his wife of 64 years, Marion C. Bashore; daughters, Teresa Caloca (Chris) and Karen Trauger (Mark); son, Steven Bashore, 9 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Bashore served as a Chief Quarter Master in the US Navy for 20 years, and also served during the Korean War. He enjoyed classic Western movies, fishing, traveling, and attending Northwood Church, where he was a member for 47 years.
