Mary Jeanette Smith

Mary Jeanette Smith, 85, of Parkton, NC, passed away November 27, 2021 surrounded by family.

Mary was born on October 31, 1936 to the late Clifton Westley Smith and Henrietta Gertrude Smith in Summerville, SC.

Mary is survived by sister, Carolyn Williamson; brother, Tommy Smith; sons, Alvin Clark, Ronnie Canady, and Donnie Canady; daughters, Linda Owen, Cheryl Canady, and Barbara Brueckner; grandsons, Chris, Brian, Kodey, Donald, Kevin, Bobby, Joshua, Kerry, John, and Kevin; and granddaughters, Victoria, Ashley, Shianne, Melissa, April, Brook, Krystal, and Kelly.

Mary is preceded in death by: Clifton Wallace Smith (brother), David Vernon Smith (brother).

Mary was a loving and caring soul. She was a mother and grandmother to many. She is and will be deeply missed forever in our hearts.

A visitation will be held on December 4, 2021 at 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Carolina Memorial and Gardens, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. Burial service will be 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
