James F Sawyer Jr.

James Fred Sawyer Jr. , 93, of N. Charleston, entered into eternal rest Thursday, January 21, 2016. The relatives and friends of Mr. James Sawyer Jr. are invited to attend his graveside services on Monday January 25, 2016 at 11:00 am at Carolina Memorial Park, 7113 Rivers Ave., N. Charleston, SC 29406. James was born January 20, 1923 in South Mills, NC , a son of the late James F. Sawyer and Bernice Cartwright Sawyer. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WW II in the Pacific Theater. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his children: Linda Owens, Patricia Howell (Mark), Michael Sawyer, Pamela Prosser (Kevin) and Kenny Sawyer, grandchildren: Lisa Keulen (Tim), Brandy Snead (Mark) , Chloe Hernandez (Victor), Marie Prosser, Bryan Owens and Wyatt Ensminger, and great grandchildren: Rena Walton, Carolina Walton and Sebastian, Aidan and Liam Hernandez.
