Frank Pellegrini, a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 17, 1940, in New Britain, Connecticut, Frank's remarkable life touched the hearts of many. His bright smile, kind heart, and infectious laughter will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched.
Frank's unwavering patriotism led him to serve 26 years in the Air Force, including a tour in Vietnam. He was a proud member of the American Legion, Legion Riders, and VFW. Frank was a brother and leader to all, and his friendship and guidance inspired countless lives. He will be remembered for his warm hospitality and generous spirit.
He is survived by his loving wife, Judith Pellegrini; brother, Albert Pellegrini; sister, Peggy Mazzoccoli; children, Hazel Malmede, Anthony Pellegrini, Gene and Teresa Pellegrini, Charmaine and Stevie Pellegrini-Roberts, Jimmy and Shalagh Peak; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Frank was preceded in death by Doris Pellegrini.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Carolina Memorial Gardens, 7113 Rivers Ave. N., Charleston, SC 29406, at 1 PM, followed by a service at 2 PM and burial at 3 PM.
