Ethan was a good kid and a really good friend. The smile that was always on his face brought many people joy including me. He would always brighten a room with his jokes and laughter. I would have never thought that he was going through something I wish that he would have talked to me. Knowing that he is gone now hurts because we use to be close but Its been almost a year since I last talked to him. I miss him so much.

Ethan I’m absolutely hating this week knowing that you will be laid to rest. I understand we shouldn’t question God but I do have a lot of questions. So what I’m going to do is start a non-profit organization to honor you. I will get the community to help organize and build this youth mentoring program to make sure NONE of my students EVER have to go through what you went through. It hit me hard when I heard the news. As his bus driver, I didn’t get to know him personally. But I got to see him on average twice a day 5 days a week since last school year. He’s been heavily on my mind.  I’ve cried many tears. This past week I noticed the knots in my stomach when I turn into the neighborhood. The knots in my stomach when I pull up to his stop. I’m suppose to see Ethan getting out his dads truck and walk to the bus. In the afternoon, he should be here, getting off with these kids to go home. I see messages on the bus seats for Ethan. I see a broken heart on his assigned seat tag. It hurts. My heart goes out to his friends affected by this. My heart hurts tremendously for Ethan & his family.  I think about you all everyday. I send my sincerest condolences. May he Rest In Peace.

Ethan was my little buddy, such a sweet, quiet soul. I saw him every Friday and I'll always remember him smiling saying "Hey, Mrs. Driggers!" I will miss him very much and I feel extremely blessed that our paths crossed at BMS. Rest easy sweet boy, God has you in his arms.

LLE, he and I used to be good friends in the second grade and all through 7th grade. I remember when we used to play football and I jumped over his head and made the touchdown. I'm gonna miss him a lot. Sending my prayers to his family and other friends.

Tears fall from my eyes as I write this. Ethan was the best friend I could ever ask for. He was super funny and he was super sweet. I met him last year when I started 6th grade, he was the first person to talk to me. Ever since that day, we've always laughed on the bus with our other friends. It's so hard to believe that this has happened. He was always smiling and laughing every time I saw him. Every time we saw each other in the hallway, we would run up to each other and joke around till we got yelled at to go to class.  We love and miss you so much and I know we'll see each other again one day.

As tears fall from my eyes writing this, I just want to say that I am very proud of the young man you have become. You were an amazing Son, Brother, Cousin and friend to those around you. I will always cherish the memories of holding you as a newborn to playing video games and watching movies late at night at your house. Ethan was one of my quite favorites. As his Math teacher I had the privilege of being a part of his life on a daily basis. Ethan was VERY smart in math and I always told him that. My last memory of Ethan was my last block the day before he departed this earth. We were doing a graphing assignment and EE keep asking me as he was working “Mr.Callum, is this right? Am I doing it right?” Then when he finished, I took his paper and boasted to the whole class, “If your graphs don’t look like this, you’re not doing it right.” I told him I was proud of him today. 
I will miss his calm, peaceful look he always expressed.  My students loved him and so did I. 
You will be missed Ethan. We will honor you in any way we can and I will dedicate this year to you. S.I.P Ethan. Definitely gone too soon. LLE

I can’t believe he isn’t here any more you know he used to fish with me a lot. One time he caught this huge catfish about 15 inches which is big for pond we were at I remember he just couldn’t believe it. It was good to see the smile on his face and for me that is the memory that will live on.

I just can’t t believe He won’t be around anymore. We used to fish a lot he used to say the funniest stuff to. But he isn’t here anymore so the only thing we can do is remember the good times.
