Estil was born on July 3, 1935, in Bowling Green, KY to parents, Hobert and Leora Meador.
Estil proudly served 4 years as an airman first class in the US Air Force, during the Korean War. He went on to work as subcontractor of the DOT and retired from Lockheed Martin.
Estil is survived by his beloved son, Estil D. Meador Jr, of Hanahan, SC. He is preceded in death by his wife, Anna M. “Janell” Meador, as well as his daughter, Roseanna M. Wright.
A visitation will be held at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 11:00AM with a chapel service to follow at 12:00PM. Interment will follow thereafter at Carolina Memorial Gardens, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, South Carolina 29406.
