Brian L Black

Born April 10, 1944 in Winnsboro, SC. He was a resident of the Parsons House of Dorchester County Board of Disabilities And Special Needs in Summerville, SC.

Son of the late Louis E Black and Delora Mae Black. Survived by 2 sisters. Donna Dobbs (Jim) of Opelika, AL and Erlene Weathersbee(Harry) of Hanahan, SC. Predeceased by sister, Vonda Black.

Brian has resided at Whitten Center, Coastal Center, the Conifers of Berkeley Citizens, and the Parsons House of DCBDSN. The caregivers at these homes made Brian into the wonderful and loving man full of kindness who loved to give everyone hugs.

The family appreciates everyone who has given Brian a place to call home. The staff in all of his homes are to be commended and thanked for their ability to use love and kindness with the challenging disabilities of everyday living.

Graveside services will be held Friday, December 13, 2024; at 3 PM at Carolina Funeral Home and Gardens, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC.
