Troy is survived by his sister, Geneva Blakley of Magnolia, Texas, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
After graduating from high school, Troy enlisted in the United States Air Force when he was 20 on January 13, 1964, proudly serving his country and achieving the rank of Sergeant E4. Following his military service, he embarked on a successful career in radio relay equipment repair and gold refining, where he collaborated with several major jewelry stores, until his retirement.
Troy had a deep passion for fishing and camping, but his greatest joy came from spending time at the casino. He lived a fulfilling life, though he never married and had no children.
A graveside service to honor Troy’s life will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024, at 10:00 AM at IOOF Cemetery, located at 1913 N Porter Ave, Norman, OK 73071.
