Services for Marsha Jean Bristol, 60 of Oklahoma City will be 3:00p.m. Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Oakcrest Church of Christ. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8p.m. at Primrose Funeral Service.
Marsha was born November 7, 1953 in Oklahoma City to Dolores (Musgrove) and Lloyd Grider. She passed April 4, 2014 in Norman.
Marsha worked for Tinker Air Force Base in many capacities, including an Inventory Controller, and retired after 26 years. She was loved and well respected by her co-workers. Marsha is a breast cancer survivor. Marsha’s compassion was known by all who knew her, as she often took care of friends and family members. Marsha’s true love was her grandchildren who held her heart. In addition to her love of family, Marsha had a passion for traveling, and made trips to see family and childhood friends.
Marsha was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Grider and 2 sisters-in-law Karen Grider and Glenda Grider.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Gary Bristol; mother, Dolores “Nana” Grider; children Chad, Aimee and Brooke; Gary’s children, Donald, Terry, Joshua; brothers, Dennis Grider and wife Bette and Randy Grider and wife Anita; sister, Sue Huizenga-Stade and husband Tom; 15 grandchildren, and one great-grandson; and eight nieces and nephews.
