Lynda Joyce McPherson

As a hobby, Lynda wanted to wrap everyone she knew in the warmth of her hand-crocheted blankets, and without her, the world will be a little bit colder. Rest easy beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Lynda Joyce Smith McPherson, 78, of Norman Oklahoma, sadly left us on January 2, 2023 following a short illness.

Lynda is preceded in death by her father, Vernis James Smith of Honey Grove, TX, her mother, Grace Smith of Honey Grove, TX, her grandson, Justin Storm Householder of Knoxville, TN, and 8 siblings.

Lynda is survived by her husband Thomas Keith McPherson, her son, Danny Dorsey of Norman, OK, her daughter Carmen Lukason of Otsego, MN, her daughter, Karen Householder of Knoxville, TN, her daughter, Jamie Kysar, of Norman, OK, her son, Scott McPherson of Broken Arrow, OK, her daughter Kyra Boyer of Edmond, OK, her sisters, June Gambill of Mangum, OK and Janice Hodge of Willow, OK, along with 19 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

A visitation for Lynda will be held Friday, January 6, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Primrose Funeral Service, 1109 North Porter Ave, Norman, OK 73071, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
