I'm so sorry for the loss of Jakob. I understand your pain. I lost my only nephew in a car accident when he was only 21 in 2005. Soon, he will have been gone longer than he was here. I know that Jakob was loved and loved his incredible family in return. Hold tight to the beautiful memories. RIP, young man.

When we would go fishing we had this little competition like all men have. Who can catch the most fish. It was always a close race between Travis and Jake with Cody right behind them in 3rd. I'll never forget Cody and I where up in this one cove and from across the pond we hear GOT ONE! Cody looks at me and says let's go over there and take his fishing spot or he would tell Jake mine was bigger. 

Judy, Kerri, Kim, Travis, Friends and Family, like so many others, we follow along on tiktok and yall feel like family. Our hearts ache for yall, the pain and grief I can't even imagine. We are calling out yalls names to the Father for healing and comfort. Jesus will never leave you or forsake you. I wish i had more words, but thats where love and prayers come in. You don’t know me; I’m just a fan of the Kerri_Okiee Instagram page.  That being said, I offer my condolences and prayers for strength regarding the loss of Jakob.  No words can ease the pain of grief, but I hope you can one day find even a little bit of comfort from the words  of Henry Van Dyke in his poem entitled GONE FROM MY SIGHT.  

Gone From My Sight

Jake, I love you dude. Sooo so much. I still can't wrap my mind around this. Memories of us as kids just nonstop play through my mind. I'm so so sorry things are ending the way they are. It truly breaks my heart that my kids don't know their uncle Jake more than they do. I made a promise to you today to never let them forget you. I promise to always make sure your rosy cheeks & big ass smile always lives on. You touched so many lives in the short 23 years we were blessed to have you. I'm sooo damn sorry I wasn't there for you more. I hope you know how much I truly love you. Find all the good smoke spots up there & have some good stories to tell me when I see you again.
