Only a few people that I have known has left such an impressive memory as Barbara has.
She is in my thoughts almost every day.

I still have such great memories of Barb, in such a short period of time knowing her, she left such a huge impact upon me.
Barb and her sister Carol will always be remembered in my heart.

I only met Barb 2 times but she was such a vibrant caring person you just couldn't forget her.  I met her through her sister Carol.  Both were unforgettable gals.  I had worked with/for Carol and I think about her almost every day, she was such a part of my life.
Very sad that I only found out about Barbs  passing recently.  I wish she and I could have had the time to explore together, so much out there to explore and she would have been the perfect one to do it with.

Hey sweet Barb,
Do me a favor. Scout out the best beaches in heaven and save me a spot right next to yours.  This world needs more good, fun life in it and you provided that for so many of us.  Thank you.  God was smiling through you all the while.

Goodbye and Rest In Peace, Barb.   We've only known each other for less than a year, but as "just friends" we've enjoyed each others' companionship, places, and activities that will be remembered dearly.  I've been so proud of and impressed by how you've gone about enjoying your life, your positive attitude, your inspiration to others, and devotion to your pets despite your sickness.  God bless you.  I'll miss you and what might have been in a different time.

From the moment I met you, I liked you. Your positivity filled a room and your graciousness was inspiring.  I loved how you loved life and four legged friends. Godspeed my friend.

This may be the longest one written BUT there is so much to say about this wonderful woman.  Barb and I were besties through high school and college.  We sat in front of her parents black and white TV watching The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show and screaming our heads off.  We loved holding Michael when Carol had him - what fun it was to spoil him.  We drank our first beer together a tiny, tiny Colt something and we giggled and giggled.  We took the bus downtown many times and always stopped by "Harry's" to get a coke.  Her Dad always had his cigar in his mouth.  We went to the Alps in Bloomington every Saturday night (fake ID's of course) not to drink but to DANCE AND DANCE.  Friday nights were always spent at the UofM dances. Then there was her first wedding that went on and on and on.  I remember people sleeping on benches and then getting up and drinking and dancing more.  It was a blast!!!  Saw her several times when she lived in Florida but never EVER admired her as much as I have in the last seven months.  What a true inspiration to each and every woman.  She was amazing and I'm sure shes having a blast up there with Lincoln, her rum and the slot machines she and her sister are already playing.  You won and life that's for sure Bumps - miss you - love you girl.  Lynda Fenske Dunn
