Xzanna Christine Harris, 84, passed away to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in Virginia Beach on Friday, July 23, 2021. She was born in Montcalm, West Virginia to the late Garland and Etheline Burchett. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Delores Stone and brothers, Gerald and Manard Burchett. Christine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Christine loved children, she baby sat in her spare time and she fostered many children. She prioritized her life taking care of her family and loving and following the Lord Jesus Christ. She is a member of Tidewater Baptist Church and currently attends Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church. She is cherished in memory by her husband, Hurley Elwood Harris; four daughters, Carolyn Jones, Maria Avila, Beverly Gurganus and Nicole Sullivan; son, David Harris; fifteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and a host of loving relatives and friends.
There will be a visitation from 6-8pm, Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Woodlawn Funeral Home. A funeral service is set for 1pm, Thursday, July 29, 2021 in the funeral home chapel. Please offer your condolences to the family during this difficult time on our website.
