Rosemary Draine-Wright was born September 15, 1955 in Lexington, MS to Earnest Draine and Ella Ruth Draine. Rosemary attended the Chicago Public School System and graduated from Chicago Vocational High School in 1973. She also graduated from Chicago State University in 1981 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business and Administration. Rosemary was employed with the City of Rockford until her retirement in 2016. She was joined in Holy Matrimony with Donald Wright Jr. for 34 years. To this union, 2 children were born Brandon Wright and Michelah Wright. Rosemary departed this life on January 13th, 2024. She was preceded in death by former spouse Donald Wright and son Brandon Wright. She leaves to cherish her memories daughter, Michelah (Vashon) Scott ; granddaughter, Ivy Scott; brothers, Tommy (Vivian) Draine and Michael (Michelle) Draine; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
