Matthew Thomas Daugherty

Matthew T. Daugherty, 28, passed away July 1, 2011. Born Sept. 28, 1983 in Guam, he was the son of Deanna M. Steele and her husband Eddie. He was a bartender at The Garage and enjoyed being with his friends and family, music, reading, surfing the internet, dancing and video games. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Michelle Ramirez; a sister, Chelsea V. Steele; maternal grandparents, Larry and Katherine Daugherty; an aunt, Tina R. Daugherty; a cousin, Shawna R. Weisinger; a nephew, Joshua M. Weisinger; and an uncle, Jeffery S.G. Daugherty and his fiancée Kelly R. Brennan, all of Virginia Beach.
