Margaret Jean Boone passed away on November 12, 2009 in Virginia Beach. She was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Elizabeth Balcomb.
Cherishing her memory is her husband Edward James Boone, Jr. of Seattle, Washington. One son Peter J. Boone and wife Geraldine of Virginia Beach, one daughter Christine E. Norris and husband Andrew of Kailua, Hawaii, and 5 grandchildren. Margaret Boone was an accomplished pianist, having studied music at the New England Conservatory of Music, and other schools. Music was her passion and joy.
We would like to give a special thanks to Sentera Nursing Home, Virginia Beach and Sentara Hospice for their fine care of our mother. A visitation for Margaret will be held Tuesday, November 17, from 6 to 8 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home. A service will be held Wednesday November 18, at 1 PM in Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel, 6329 E.
