Gurney Nicholas Pittman, Jr.

Gurney N. Pittman, Jr., beloved father, passed away April 29, 2016. He served in the US Navy during WWII and worked for Norfolk and Southern for 37 years. He was a life member of VFW Post 4809. He loved fishing and playing pool. He is survived by his daughter, Robyn Pittman (Brian) of Norfolk; sister, Edith Hedrick of Suffolk. A funeral service will be held at 11am, Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norview Chapel with burial to follow at Colonial Grove Cemetery.
