Caroline L. Tuttle

Caroline LaVerne Salvo Tuttle better known as “Carolyn”, 86, wife of the late Sinclair Tuttle and formerly a resident of Norfolk, Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 23, 2015 in Richmond, VA. Born on March 1, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Elmon G. Salvo, SR. and the late Mary E. Infinger Salvo. Carolyn was a member of Burrows Memorial Baptist Church in Norfolk.
Survivors include five children, Scott Sinclair and his wife Christina of Winchester, VA, Robert Allen Tuttle and his wife Tina of Pinson, Ala., Mary Ellen Willoughby and her husband Kenneth of Richmond, VA, Sharon Tuttle Saunders and her husband Gary of Chesapeake, VA, Catherine Anne Pendleton and her husband Kelly of Randleman, NC; three sister in laws, Ulyssese Salvo of Summerville, SC, Doris Farrell and her husband Jim of Delray Beach, FL, and Pat Tuttle of Summerville, SC., 25 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Other than her husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, Charles Lester Salvo and Elmon G. Salvo, Jr.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 11:00 am from the Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel at 6329 E Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk, VA. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The interment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
